Football season closing in!

Captain Tsubasa: Ace, the upcoming mobile football game from DeNa, has announced a new round of closed beta test scheduled for September 21, 2023. This will be exclusive for Android in select regions and will end on the 5th of October, 2023.

First announced on July 27, 2022, Captain Tsubasa: Ace was named as a new online multiplayer football game inspired by a popular manga series called Captain Tsubasa created by Yoichi Takahashi. Authorized by the Captain Tsubasa manga IP, it ensures that the game will stay true to the original manga’s world and essence, offering fans an authentic and faithful experience.

The game also opened early access recently for players in Indonesia and the Philippines, which gave a glimpse of the gameplay. Aside from the dynamic player-versus-player action and the strategic management of various player types, players will also have the exciting opportunity to assemble their ultimate football dream teams by collecting a vast selection of iconic players from the original series.

Speaking of the gamemodes, there are two excluding the Story Mode, where Dream League is a complete 11v11 team experience where you have command over your entire squad, facing off against formidable rivals. Meanwhile, there’s Ace Showdown, a 5v5 mode that lets you take control of a single player in a team of five with one AI and four players.

Players can access Captain Tsubasa: Ace directly from the Play Store once the test is live

During the closed beta testing phase, which is scheduled to take place from September 21st to October 5th, the game will be accessible to players in specific regions, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

To participate in this, players can simply download the game directly from the Google Play Store. The link will be made active once the testing period starts, so keep an eye on the official site for announcements.

Like last time, iOS users will have to wait for their chance to play Captain Tsubasa: Ace as it is still in the dark regarding the timeline. The official global release date for the game has not been revealed, leaving fans in suspense. We all must patiently await the official announcement for further details on when the game will become globally available.
