Captain Tsubasa: Ace is a brand new title announced by DeNa based on the famous manga

Captain Tsubasa: Ace is a new competitive online multiplayer football game that was recently announced by DeNa. The game is inspired by a popular manga series called Captain Tsubasa created by Yoichi Takahashi. The real-time online multiplayer game was revealed with a teaser trailer in the recent TapTap Presents 2022 event.

Although the teaser trailer of the game doesn’t reveal much about the gameplay sources say that the game will cover all the important elements of the manga series bringing the iconic characters and the storyline. DeNa has not yet announced any release date for this game.

The game is based on the famous manga from Yoichi Takahashi

As mentioned before Captain Tsubasa is an ongoing manga series created by Yoichi Takahashi following the story of a football enthusiast and a potential prodigy named Tsubasa Oozora. The 11-year-old boy who falls deeply in love with football, dreams of winning the FIFA World Cup for his home country one day.

The story progresses with Tsubasa’s journey as a football lover from his childhood days to an adult, traveling to Brazil and playing his favorite at the Olympics for Japan. Currently, the popular manga series has been ranked among the Top 100s and over 80 million copies have been sold in the market.

The story has created a huge influence among the Japanese audience and has inspired countless professional football players to play the sport. Also, there is a statue erected of Tsubasa in the town of Katsushika Tokyo which is Yoichi Takahashi’s hometown.

When will Captain Tsubasa: Ace release
